I started this review of The Daily Mirror's Value Scope racing tipster on 01 December 2007 as a record of the results of an average person in the street.

Due to the consistent results Valuescope has been achieving , by the time your paper gets delivered the suggested price is likely to have dropped. So I will post Valuescopes tips each Saturday morning as early as possible (think of me when it's freezing cold and snowing trudging down to the newsagents)

I will also post the results, the prices I was actually able to get, and my profit / loss on a weekly and cumulative basis.

Dear me Value Scope seems to be in very bad form over the last few months. Hope it doesnt go on as long as Tom Segals bad run went on for.

I am glad I missed his most recent bets but looking on the positive he will ghet a winner soon, maybe today.

Thanks again for doing this page, I dont get the chance to see The Mirror much nowdays
